Hello, Hello, Hello everyone! I just wanted to give you guys an update for the next two months. So a fun personal fact about me is I am never called upon from January to September and November to December; I am not a busy person (work busy mostly). EXCEPT when October hits. Then the “Megan” symbol shines brightly against the autumn night sky. I am notoriously booked during this month, I couldn’t tell you why. This is year is no exception, but my busyness isn’t contained to just October. September is also shaping up to be a busy month as well.

So the reason for this post is just to let you know I haven’t forgotten about anything. I am still going to post more, but I wanted to let you know about this so you guys know I do still very much care for you guys my followers.

As a I tend to work better with due dates, I am going to have a special Halloween treat for you guys on October 31st. Remember to check back in to my blog on this date. I am really excited for how it is turning out as I have never done this medium before! Till then, tah-tah for now!

I did not forget my post! So I had a wonderful time at Steel City like always! Thank you for any new followers I have gained from this! I have uploaded a couple of the comissions I did during Steel City for everyone to view.

I have do have a special treat for everyone, the color palette challenge. What it means fro anyone who has never done it, I have uploaded a set of color palettes. What I would like you guys to do is send me a response with a color palette, an emotion, and a mythological beast (think mermaids, bigfoot, vampires, etc) and I will do quick drawing with that and upload them for you guys to see. I am doing this for warm up and to be a little more active on my sites in between me uploading bigger works.

I am taking the week “off” to rest up, so please send in the requests so next week I can start working on the requests!

Steel City Comic Con

Hello everyone!

It’s time for another blatant advertising post. I will be at Steel City Con this Friday 8/11-8/13 2017. As always I invite anyone to come and visit me. Plus I will be accepting commissions at this con for the first time! They are going to be either pen sketches, ink, or color pencil options. ***Please note they are “at con” only commissions (meaning I not accepting payment and will send the commissions out later type of dealio).

In other news, I am still very much chipping away at my two latest pieces, don’t worry I haven’t forgotten about them. In the meantime, I am going to have a bit more of an interactive thing for you guys that will be up on hopefully Sunday (but Im not going to kid myself, it will most likely be Monday cause I am normally exhausted after a con). So keep an eye out for a post on Sunday/ Monday!

Hazard Con

Well I had a lovely time at Hazard Con. This was the con’s maiden voyage and I think it did very well! Thank you to any new followers I’ve gotten from attending the con for visiting me! I do want to do some shout-outs to my neighbors who were around me and for you guys to check out:

Kelli Kohn: An awesome artist with a talent for multi-colors paintings. She had many beautiful prints of cats and dogs as well as a few landscapes. Her stuff can be found on her facebook and her website kellikohn.com.

Xuunies: A very skilled artist who had many unique fanart prints to sale. She has a nice style which prevails throughout her art. Her stuff can be found at xuuato.tumblr.com as well a twitter @xuuato and her patreon under xuunies.

Sushi’s tea time: Another talented artist who had tons of buttons, and keychains of his art to sell. He made a lot of show sets which was cool. He can be found on etsy, facebook (linked in name), tumblr, and twitter all using sushisteatime.

Elikathal Cosplay: This girl sells many hand made plush items and beautiful kimonos! I bought a little baby dragon plush from her that is adorable! Definitely go and check out her stuff either on facebook (linked) and her etsy store https://www.etsy.com/shop/aplushwonderland

I also did 2 commissions for a girl’s OCs. I am starting to feel a bit more confident in those, so if anyone has been wanting to do a commission and is willing to put up with a little slowness (which I am still working on), I will do do ink drawings and color pencils drawings at the cons.
